Ray Davies, Elton John, and Elvis Costello have been confirmed for a gig at Hyde Park in London this summer. According to NME, the trio will headline the last Friday (July 12) of the Barclaycard Presents British Summer Time festival.
Also on the bill that evening are Lucy Rose, Justin Currie, Tift Merritt, To Kill A King and Thea Gilmore. Tickets for the show are now on sale.
Previously announced performers at the summer series include the Rolling Stones (July 6 and 13), Bon Jovi (July 5), as well as a host of other acts, including Kaiser Chiefs, the Vaccines, Palma Violets, Bush and Tribes.
The Stones are the highlight of the acts to appear at Hyde this summer, as evidenced by their record setting ticket bonanza. The band moved over 65,000 ticks in three minutes.
