Lou Gramm has opened up about being reunited with his former Foreigner bandmate Mick Jones at the upcoming Songwriters Hall of Fame induction.
Gramm said that he approached Jones to perform together after years of not communicating.
"I just called him and congratulated him on the award," Gramm said. "I think he was taken aback a little bit, but he congratulated me and I think that kind of broke the ice."
He added: "It will be him and I and the house band at the award show. We're going to rehearse the day before the show and soundcheck the day of the show and do it. I think it's going to be a lot of fun."
Gramm's autobiography Juke Box Hero: My Five Decades In Rock 'N' Roll (co-written with Scott Pitoniak) was recently released and details his time with Foreigner, his years of drug addiction, and his recovery from a brain tumor.
