Elvis Costello teamed up with Mumford & Sons to record a cover version of "The Ghost of Tom Joad," a track written for the 1995 album of the same name by Bruce Springsteen.
The song was recorded for charity organization Agit8, which has called for an end poverty in conjunction with Bono's One Campaign in advance of next week's G8 Summit in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
The all-star collab took place at last month's Sasquatch! Festival. The video, available online now, features the boys harmonizing on the track in an open field.
"Not only was it for a good cause, but the temporary super group . . . created a truly pure moment, one that feels like a bunch of bros jammin' out in the wilderness in the name of camaraderie and good tunes," wrote Consequence of Sound in its review of the vid.
