Bruce Springsteen and his E Street Band honored their friend, the late actor James Gandolfini, during a Thursday night show in Coventry, England.
Halfway through his set at the Ricoh Arena, Springsteen announced that the band would be playing the full "Born To Run" album in tribute to the Sopranos actor, who died of a heart attack in Rome on Wednesday.
The 30-song set for Gandolfini included such hits as "Hungry Heart," "Born in the U.S.A.," and "Badlands."
Guitarist Steven Van Zandt, who worked with Gandolfini in The Sopranos, was one of many celebrities to show their grief for the actor's death on Twitter:
"I have lost a brother and a best friend. The world has lost one of the greatest actors of all time."
Others to have paid tribute via tweet or other means include Kings Of Leon, Slash, and Justin Timberlake.
