Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert DVD Set For Release This Fall

The 1992 tribute concert for Freddie Mercury, featuring the remaining members of Queen and host of special guests, will be released on DVD and Bluray September 3. The set, Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert, is distributed by Eagle Rock Entertainment.

The original show took place on April 20, 1992 and featured Roger Taylor, Brian May and John Deacon serving as the house band at Wembley Arena. It raised money for the Mercury Phoenix Trust, an HIV/AIDS charity that continues raising money in memory of Mercury.

Their special guests on the night included David Bowie, Roger Daltrey, Def Leppard, Extreme, Bob Geldof, Ian Hunter, Tony Iommi, Elton John, Annie Lennox, George Michael, Liza Minnelli, Robert Plant, Mick Ronson, Seal, Lisa Stansfield, Elizabeth Taylor, Paul Young and Zucchero.

Featured tracks on the DVD include "Bohemian Rhapsody," "Hammer To Fall," "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," "Radio Ga Ga," "I Want To Break Free," "Under Pressure," "Somebody To Love," "We Will Rock You" and "We Are The Champions."
