Robby Krieger, guitarist for the Doors, has confirmed to Rolling Stone magazine that he'll team up with drummer John Densmore in order to give a show in honor of the band's recently departed keyboardist, Ray Manzarek.
"We're going to do at least one show for Ray and have a big send-off," said Krieger. "That's either the start or the end of it, I don't know."
Densmore previously had a flap with Krieger and Manzarek after the pair began touring in 2002 as the Doors of the 21st Century. The disagreement led to a suit and a countersuit after Densmore refused to sign over the band's rights for endorsement deals.
Krieger added to the mag that he and Densmore finally patched things up, although he wished it had been sooner:
"I can't hate him forever. I just wish he [Densmore] had wanted to play with Ray and I before this all started."
