Bob Dylan Replaces Guitarist Duke Robillard

Bob Dylan has cut ties with his most recent touring guitarist, Duke Robillard. He has been replaced by Dylan's former axeman, Charlie Sexton, who played with Dylan between 2009 and 2012.

There has been no official word on the reason for Robillard's departure and the blues veteran offered only a cryptic statement via Facebook:

"For sale: Bob Dylan CD and record collection, slightly used." He later wrote, "I will be selling a lot of guitars and amps soon. I'll keep you posted."

Robillard's last show on the tour was on June 30 in Nashville. Sexton will pick things up beginning July 2 in Memphis. The former played only 27 shows as a member of Dylan's band, and thus far reps for the rock legend have issued no statements on the split.
