An acoustic guitar that was played by Jimmy Page has been sold for more than $39,000 at auction.
The guitar was just one instrument out of a handful of pieces of rock memorabilia sold at Bonhams last week. Page played the guitar at Roy Harper's 70th birthday concert in London in November 2011.
The bidder who received the guitar also received a hard case and a letter signed by Page. According to the listing, the fingerboard on the guitar is inlaid with Led Zeppelin, the Zodiac symbols, and Page's name.
A set of David Bowie's handwritten lyrics to "The Jean Genie" was also auctioned off.
