Jimmy Buffett hit the stage for a performance at the Today Show's summer stage this week. The "Margaritaville" singer appeared on the show to promote his new release, Songs from St. Somewhere, and was joined by crowds of his dedicated fans, the Parrotheads.
During the performance, Buffett offered up a few of his beloved classics, including "Margaritaville" and "Fins" and also played a few new tracks, like "Somethin' 'Bout a Boat" and "Too Drunk to Karaoke." He also joked about "Too Drunk to Karaoke" with the Today crew, saying: "I have been in that predicament myself, and it was my own song!"
The new release follows his 2009 album Buffet Hotel and Jimmy said he's been on vacation for a while since its release. He's back to work in a major way now, however, as he is also producing a Broadway adaptation of the 2003 film Big Fish.
