The owners of the KISS Coffeehouse on Myrtle Beach's Broadway strip will close by the end of September. Matthew Goldschmidt, GM of the café, said that after seven years, business had slowly drifted away from the establishment.
"It's not that we didn't do well," Goldschmidt told Myrtle Beach Online. "It was just a steady decline."
The café featured drinks like the Kiss Army Blend, French Kiss Vanilla and the Kiss Frozen Rockuccino, along with a slew of KISS memorabilia.
Goldschmidt said that prices on the latter will be slashed as the business winds down its run.
Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, who attended the café's grand opening, did not comment on the closing. The KISS Coffeehouse opened in 2006.
