A lock of Bob Dylan's hair was reportedly one of the items lost by Black Keys frontman Dan Auerbach in his ongoing divorce proceedings. The rocker's divorce from ex-wife Stephanie Gonis were settled this week and, according to TMZ, she made off with the unusual keepsake.
The item is listed on court documents as "Bob Dylan Hair," though the document offers no other explanation. Thus far, there has been no mention on how Auerbach came into possession of the hair, or its condition. It was among various more common settlement items including $5 million in cash, a car and one of the couple's homes.
Meanwhile, the folk icon made headlines this week making by releasing a previously unheard track. A recording of "Pretty Saro," the 18th century English folk song covered during the sessions for his 1970 album Self Portrait, is now available online. The track has been in the vault at Columbia since failing to make it on the album 43 years ago.
