Members of Motley Crue are in disagreement on the reasons for their impending retirement, because of comments made by frontman Vince Neil.
"Mick's (Mars) health is not that good, and touring is tough on him," Neil told the Oakland Press recently. "I'm sure in five, 10 years' time we'll probably do something together again, but it's not gonna be like a Kiss farewell to the farewell to the farewell tour. We're not gonna be like that."
Neil was speaking in regards to Mars' battle with ankylosing spondylitis, a chronic condition that causes spinal joints to fuse together, though Mars himself doesn't agree.
"Any rumors regarding a farewell tour due to 'my poor health' are BS," Mars tweeted. "I am doing fine. My AS has never kept me from touring and never will."
The back and forth also prompted Nikki Sixx to get involved, who tweeted "Don't get ya panties in a wad so fast, we haven't booked our farewell tour. It's like some people can't wait to get rid of us."
