Vince Neil To Host Air Force Salute In Las Vegas

Vince Neil is saluting the men and women of the United States Air Force on Sept. 1. The Motley Crue frontman will invite 100 soldiers from Nellis base to his Tatuado Cantina for a private reception, followed by a trip to see the Raiding the Rock Vault show at the LVH Las Vegas Hotel & Casino.

"Vince has been a long time supporter and admirer of those who defend us from the skies," reads a press release announcing the event.

"[He] wanted to take this opportunity to give back to those brave aviators who protect and defend our freedom in the air every day."

Raiding the Rock Vault tells "the story of classic rock" with "members from some of the greatest rock bands in history," including Tracii Guns, former Survivor vocalist Robin McAuley, Heart guitarist Howard Leese and former Asia bassist John Payne, along with special guests Bobby Kimball (Toto), Joe Lynn Turner (Deep Purple) and Starship's Mickey Thomas.
