The Who's classic 1969 album Tommy is getting an upgrade as it will be released in a Super Deluxe Edition.
The new release was announced via an image posted on the band's Facebook page, which featured not only a rundown of the new set's contents, but also a picture.
According to the image, Super Deluxe Tommy will include the original studio album, a disc of unreleased demos and rarities, a complete disc of unreleased 1969 live recordings and extensive previously unseen memorabilia.
The reissue will mark the first time the album has been released in 5.1 surround sound. Back in 2011 the Who put out a similar package for their album Quadrophenia.
No official release date has been released yet for Super Deluxe Tommy.
