KISS, which recently launched its own Arena Football League team (the L.A. Kiss), has now announced that the team has a roster spot open for Tim Tebow.
Tebow, recently cut by his third NFL team, the New England Patriots, would represent a marketing coup for the fledgling squad.
"Tim Tebow is one of the most recognized and respected athletes in sport," said Kiss member and team co-owner Paul Stanley. "His joining us would mean great things for his fans and for our team, especially from a business standpoint. His credibility within the sports arena is paramount. With our commitment to bringing football without compromise back to L.A., we're excited to see how this offer turns out."
Gene Simmons added that he's "excited for the opportunity to see him with an L.A. Kiss uniform on."
Tebow has not yet responded to the offer from KISS.
