Christie McVie will re-unite with Fleetwood Mac onstage during their upcoming European tour. Singer Stevie Nicks confirmed that McVie, who left the group in 1998, would perform one song at two concerts.
Nicks told BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour that McVie "is going to come and do a song on the second two shows. I think it will probably be 'Don't Stop.' I don't know, but she's coming to Ireland to rehearse with us."
"Don't Stop" was McVie's biggest hit as a songwriter for the band, which reached number 3 in the U.S. in 1977.
McVie's reunion with the band comes as a surprise for many, since Nicks herself said in December that "There's no more a chance of that happening than an asteroid hitting the Earth."
The tour begins with two shows in Dublin on Friday, September 20.
