John Fogerty Gets Help From Mumford & Sons At Florida Show

John Fogerty made a surprise appearance at Mumford & Sons' Gentlemen of the Road Stopover show in St. Augustine, Florida over the weekend. Fogerty took the stage in place of fun., who canceled their performance.

According to the St. Augustine Record, Fogerty mixed in some old favorites along with new material. Several members of Mumford's band joined him onstage to back him up. Available on YouTube is fan shot video of the guys playing "Down on the Corner."

Frontman Marcus Mumford told Jam Bands that he wasn't too disappointed with fun.'s absence "because John Fogerty was f*****g awesome."

"I'm actually more excited about this," one concertgoer told the record, referring to Fogerty's surprise performance. The former CCR fronter also played "Bad Moon Rising," "Proud Mary," "Lodi" and "Have You Ever Seen the Rain?"
