Yes To Reissue Close To The Edge With Extras

Yes is re-issuing Close to the Edge, one of the band's most popular albums, on October 29 via Panegyric Records. The 1972 classic is the first of several Yes albums to get the re-issue treatment, according to a statement on the band's site.

The CD format features a new stereo album mix by Steven Wilson, along with a new mix of "America" and an early mix of "Close to the Edge."

The CD/DVD format includes a new 5.1 surround mix, a new stereo mix, the original stereo mix, along with several audio extras including single edits and studio run throughs.

Finally, the Blu-ray/CD features all of the above plus instrumental versions of the album's tracks and a needle-drop of the original U.K. vinyl.

The set will also include original artwork by Roger Dean, as well as a booklet with new sleeve notes by Sid Smith.
