Slash has joined forces with California-based food chain Umami Burger to launch The Slash Burger, a monster hamburger fans can get in 20 Umami locations across the country.
The Slash Burger is covered in shiitake mushrooms, caramelized onions, American cheese, avocado spread, and wasabi aioli, served with a Parmesan cheese crisp.
The burger sells for $15, with $1 from each purchase going to the Los Angeles Youth Network, an organization that provides street outreach food, emergency shelter, transitional living apartments, and educational enrichment programs to abused, neglected and homeless adolescents.
Slash joins the rank of other rockers to launch food lines of some sort. Aerosmith's Joe Perry recently released a line of Rock Your World hot sauces.
The Slash Burger is available at 20 Umami locations until November 27.
