Paul McCartney recently responded to a 50-year-old taped message from a pair of Beatles fans. According to the BBC, the tape was originally mailed to a theater in London where the band performed in 1963.
Barbara Bezant and Lyn Phillips left the Beatles a very touching message, saying: "This dream is just to come round the back and see you, but I don't suppose that'll ever happen. But we can always live in hope, can't we?"
Despite the fact that the tape is 50 years old, McCartney presented the pair with a note in response:
"Hi Linda and Barbara, thanks very much for you lovely tape. It finally got through, better late than never. Great to hear that you found each other after all these years. Keep enjoying the music. Love, Paul."
