Alice Cooper is in talks to join the cast of Broadway's Spider Man: Turn Off the Dark. The 65-year-old rocker would reportedly play the villainous Green Goblin, according to the New York Post.
While neither Cooper nor the production team have commented directly, the Post writes that Cooper would make roughly $150,000 a week, if he joins the cast.
The production team is hoping the sizable investment will help keep attendance up during January and February, which are traditionally off months for Broadway.
Cooper expressed an interest in heading to Broadway this past July when he told the Oakland Press:
"I think if we ever take Alice Cooper to Broadway, it would just be called 'Nightmare'. . .'Welcome to My Nightmare' would be the first half and 'Welcome 2' would be the second half. That would work."
