Paul McCartney Opens Up To Fans In Twitter Q&A

Paul McCartney hosted a Twitter Q&A late last week, opening up to fans on a variety of topics. Among the revelations from Macca was that a rumored duet with Bob Dylan was a possibility - although it was never carried out.

"There was a rumour about a year ago that @bobdylan & I might work together but we haven't picked up on it," he said.

Another fan asked Sir Paul why he decided on such a spare title for his latest album New.

"I was playing around with more poetic titles but NEW was a simple word and the name of a song on the album," was the answer.

Finally, in response to a fan query regarding his last record purchases, McCartney said he bought LPs by Kanye West, Jay Z, the National and the Civil Wars.
