Bon Jovi drummer Tico Torres has rejoined his bandmates on tour after undergoing duel surgeries.
Torres initially experienced medical issues when a September 10 concert in Mexico City was canceled after he was hospitalized. First, an emergency appendectomy was performed; then, less than two weeks later, he was hospitalized again with severe abdominal pain, resulting in gall-bladder surgery.
"Tico Torres has been the heart and soul of our band since we started 30 years ago" Jon Bon Jovi said at the time. "He's also one tough SOB and we look forward to him again pounding away brilliantly at the drums on the remainder of this and future tours."
The 59-year-old Torres returned October 9 for the group's show in Fresno, California, playing a two-hour-plus concert for fans at the Save Mart Center.
