Mick Taylor will join Ronnie Wood and his band as they pay tribute to the late Jimmy Reed during their Nov. 1 set at the Royal Albert Hall for Bluesfest. It's unclear as to how much Taylor will play during the set.
The Rolling Stones made the announcement on their website:
"Former Rolling Stones guitarist Mick Taylor will be part of Ronnie Wood's band on stage at the closing night of BluesFest. Mick Taylor made an stunning guest performance on The Stones' 50 & Counting tour, and will rejoin Ronnie Wood on stage at BluesFest in tribute to the legendary Blues artist Jimmy Reed."
Van Morrison, Robert Plant and the Tedeschi Trucks Band are also set to perform at Bluesfest. The fest runs from Oct. 29 through Nov. 1.
