REO Speedwagon member Kevin Cronin has spoken up about the band's forthcoming new release, a live album called Live At Moondance Jam. The album was recorded at the Minnesota music festival last summer and Cronin spoke on the release with Ultimate Classic Rock.
"Well yeah, we were doing Moondance back when the dressing room was the back of your truck! It's come a long way, and it's such an awesome event, because it's a dying breed - the actual old-school rock festival. We have over 30,000 people in the audience and it's a four-day weekend and people are all camping out. I mean, it's really cool," he said.
"We were so fortunate, because over the years we've recorded and videoed a number of shows, and there's always been something that didn't work. Either there was a technical glitch or I didn't feel like I sang well or somebody's guitar was out of tune or whatever. There was always something that messed it up," he added.
