U2 Releasing New Music On Black Friday

U2 are prepping the release of a new song, "Ordinary Love," on 10-inch limited edition vinyl. The cut, whose B-side includes a re-recording of "Breathe," hits on Record Store Day's Black Friday event, Nov. 29. Only 10,000 copies of "Ordinary Love" will be pressed.

The song was written for the upcoming biopic, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, which opens on Nov. 29.

According to the band's site, they are friends of Nelson Mandela, inspired to write the tune after seeing early cuts of the film. Fans can check out a short clip of the song that is featured in the film's trailer.

During a recent interview on Irish radio, bassist Adam Clayton dished on the band's latest recording sessions:

"We're in the studio. We're trying to get these 12 songs absolutely right and get them finished by the end of November, and then we can kind of enjoy Christmas."
