Paul McCartney says that his longstanding feud with Yoko Ono has finally come to an end. Speaking with Rolling Stone, Macca said that the passage of time has lessened his dislike of her:
"Time, the great healer. I thought, 'If John [Lennon] loved her, there's got to be something. He's not stupid."
Sir Paul added that he still feels Lennon's presence when writing music:
"If I'm at a point where I go, 'I'm not sure about this,' I'll throw it across the room to John. He'll say, 'You can't go there, man.' And I'll say, 'You're quite right.' We'll have a conversation."
In a separate interview, Ono said she appreciated Paul's remarks and respected him.
New, Macca's 24th post-Beatles record, hit stores on October 11.
