Neil Young has confirmed a string of dates at New York's famed Carnegie Hall early next year. The rock legend will appear at the venue on January 6, 7, 9 and 10, marking his only announced tour dates of 2014.
Despite Neil's wide open touring schedule next year, he was busy this fall with his annual Bridge School Benefit on Oct. 26, which streamed live via YouTube this year.
Young was joined by Crosby, Stills & Nash, Arcade Fire, Queens of the Stone Age, My Morning Jacket, Jack Johnson, fun., Heart, Jenny Lewis, Elvis Costello and Diana Krall.
"Neil came up with the acoustic format idea," Pegi Young, Neil's wife, told Rolling Stone of the long-running benefit.
"It was genius. Nobody was doing that at the time. This is before MTV Unplugged or any of that. It keeps costs down, and it took artists outside their comfort zone. Looking back, that first concert was an exercise in simplicity compared to what it is these days."
