David Bowie Sings 'I'd Rather Be High' In New Louis Vuitton Short Film

David Bowie sings a new version of his track "I'd Rather Be High" in a new commercial for French fashion house Louis Vuitton.

The new clip is directed by Romain Gavras (MIA's "Bad Girls," "Born Free").

The film, titled L'Invitation Au Voyage, stars American fashion model Arizona Muse, who arrives at the Louvre in Paris on a hot-air balloon, and then travels to Venice. She encounters Bowie at an elaborate ball, where he performs "I'd Rather Be High" accompanied by a harpsichord.

"I'd Rather Be High" is taken off of Bowie's latest studio album The Next Day.

The new advertisement comes on the heels of the premiere of four brand new Bowie tracks, "Atomica," "The Informer," "Like A Rocket Man" and "Born In A UFO," which will all be featured on the three-disc edition of The Next Day.
