Bruce Springsteen is rumored to be releasing a new single on Tuesday, Nov. 19, according to the Danish music service Wimp.
The cut is said to be a cover the Havalinas 1990 track "High Hopes." Springsteen previously covered the song for his 1996 EP Blood Brothers. The new single is expected to be an updated and/or re-worked version of the song.
A new Springsteen album has been expected since he told Rolling Stone magazine back in June that it was in the works. He added that he had even made time to record while on tour in Australia.
"We've never had a recording session during a tour in our lives," Springsteen said. "We did a couple of things that I wanted to put down."
Springsteen's last album, Wrecking Ball, was released in 2013.
