According to reports from Billboard and Rolling Stone, Bruce Springsteen is planning the release of a new album in 2014. A new track, "High Hopes," featuring Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello leaked online earlier this week.
"High Hopes" is due officially on Nov. 25, and is the lead single from the LP, according to Consequence of Sound.
The cut is a cover of a track by Los Angeles band the Havalinas, which featured on the 1996 documentary Blood Brothers.
A new Springsteen album has been expected since he told Rolling Stone magazine back in June that it was in the works. He added that he had even made time to record while on tour in Australia.
"We've never had a recording session during a tour in our lives," Springsteen said. "We did a couple of things that I wanted to put down."
