Charlie Daniels headed an all-star lineup to spread Christmas cheer at his annual "Christmas 4 Kids Concert" in Nashville on Monday night.
Daniels and his band played with Justin Moore, Rodney Atkins, Phil Vassar, and Sawyer Brown during the evening, which was first started 25 years ago to give 400 underprivileged children in middle Tennessee a proper Christmas.
The full event includes a day-long shopping trip, a brand-new winter coat, a ride in a luxury bus tour, a dinner, and a lunch hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Daniels noted: "You think about making a kid smile when there is very little to smile about in their life. That's what Christmas 4 Kids is all about."
Daniels' Christmas 4 Kids nonprofit also holds Tour Bus viewings of the travel lodgings of country stars for a small fee, with proceeds donated to the nonprofit. Previous country stars participating in the Tour Bus event have included Taylor Swift, Chris Young, Trace Adkins, and Wynonna Judd.
