Neil Young is currently live streaming his upcoming Archive Performance Series installment, Live at the Cellar Door, at Classic Rock magazine's website.
The LP features 13 songs from Young's six-show solo stop at the Washington, D.C. venue between November 30 and December 2, 1970.
Among the oddities on the LP are performances of "Old Man," which wouldn't appear on record until two years later, when Young released Harvest. It also features a rare version of "Cinnamon Girl" played on piano instead of guitar.
Live at the Cellar Door, distributed on the Reprise Records label, hits December 9, nearly 50 years after the shows were recorded.
The LP will be released digitally, on CD, and on 180-gram vinyl. It was mastered by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering and pressed at Pallas in Germany.
