The Beatles are prepping the release of a massive box set, covering their U.S. releases with Capitol from 1964-1970. The U.S. Albums set hits January 21.
During the period, Capitol issued different albums than EMI released in the U.K. When the LPs were released on CD in 1987, the EMI versions were issued.
The set includes Meet the Beatles!, The Beatles Second Album, A Hard Day's Night, Something New, The Beatles' Story, Beatles '65, The Early Beatles, Beatles VI, Help!, Rubber Soul, Yesterday and Today, Revolver and Hey Jude.
Each album will come with the original Capitol artwork. There is also a 64-page book with an essay and photos included in the new box set.
According to a presser, all of the albums - with the exception of The Beatles' Story, an audio documentary album - will also be available for individual CD purchase.
