U2's Bono And Irish Stars Sing For Charity On Christmas Eve

Bono of U2 and a handful of other Irish stars hit the streets of Dublin on Christmas to sing songs and raise money for charity. The annual event raises money for the Simon Communities, an organization that helps Dublin's homeless.

Others to take part in the festivities included Damien Rice, Frames and Swell Season singer Glen Hansard, Hothouse Flowers singer Liam O'Maonlai and Mundy.

Bono teamed up with the Frames to sing Slade's "Merry Xmas Everybody," along with the standard, "O Come All Ye Faithful." Bono also took time out to thank Hansard for organizing the event.

It is the fifth consecutive year that Bono has taken part in the charity event.
