Rush's Debut LP To Receive 40th Anniversary Reissue

Rush's 1974 self-titled album will see a reissue next year to mark the 40th anniversary of its release.

The source of the information is Universal Music Canada's VP of catalog marketing Ivar Hamilton, who says the members of the band are "very involved" in the process of putting the package together. No other details regarding the reissue are currently available, but it will likely include a remaster of the album, and new and expanded liner notes.

In other Rush related news, the band will be making the transition to the comic book world as, their 20th studio album Clockwork Angels will be adapted into a comic book next spring, according to The Pulse Of Radio. The six-issue series will be published by independent company Boom! Studios beginning in March 2014.
