Guns N' Roses And Rolling Stones Members Working On New Album

Guns N' Roses members Dizzy Reed and Richard Fortus have reportedly been working with touring Rolling Stones bassist Darryl Jones on a new record for their collective side project Dead Daisies. The group is fronted by INXS member Jon Stevens.

Reed spoke on the new album with Hot Metal:

"We actually recorded three new songs in the middle of that last tour," he began.

"I think we do well under pressure. We had some riffs and I think we all sort of found a common ground. We all listened to the same music. It's kind of what we do."

The release follows their self-titled debut from last year. Much of the music on the debut release was penned by Stevens with guitarist David Lowy, though they also had some writing and production help from Slash on it.
