Neil Young has reportedly finished work on a covers albums with White Stripes rocker Jack White.
According to Days of the Crazy-Wild, Young and White recently wrapped a collaboration album that most likely started last April, when Young recorded a cover of folk singer Bert Jansch's "Needle of Death" at White's Nashville-based Third Man Recording Booth on Record Store Day.
Days of the Crazy-Wild also writes that a source close to the project has confirmed that the pair recorded an entire album together. While no release date has been planned, the record will most likely come out on both White's Third Man Records and Young's current label Warner Bros.
So far no official word on the project has been released.
