Black Sabbath took home a Grammy at Sunday's event. Ozzy and company scored the honor in the Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance category for their track "God Is Dead?" The award was given at a pre-telecast ceremony.
Members of Sabbath were not on hand to accept the award, but it was accepted on their behalf by Cyndi Lauper, co-host of the pre-telecast event.
"God Is Dead?" appeared on the group's 13 album and was released as a single last April. It beat out Dream Theater's "The Enemy Inside," Killswitch Engage's "In Due Time," Volbeat's "Room 24," featuring King Diamond, and Anthrax's "T.N.T." to win the Grammy.
Meanwhile, Led Zeppelin took home the award for Best Rock Album. The classic rockers were honored for Celebration Day, a live album based on their 2007 reunion concert.
