Neil Young's recent four night stand at Carnegie Hall is now available freely on the web. The footage was shot by Tom Adams, a professional videographer, from his seat in the front row of the mezzanine.
Adams contacted others who'd shot video and made a master edit of the recordings. He says the extra footage was necessary after he missed one song:
"I got a little too adventurous with the camera and one of the ushers came over and told me to put it away," he told the Wall Street Journal.
Young's long time manager, Elliot Roberts, noted that the recordings are not approved by Young:
"We find this sort of practice to be incredibly rude toward both the audience and the artist."
