Eagles Play At The Refurbished Forum

The Eagles hit the newly refurbished L.A. Forum on Wednesday, January 30, making the band the first act to play the venue since its updating.

"Do you like California country?" Glenn Frey asked the crowd before the band launched into its hit, "Peaceful Easy Feeling." It was the first song the entire band played, following an acoustic set featuring only Don Henley, Frey and Bernie Leadon.

Other songs played during the evening included "Tequila Sunrise," "Already Gone," "Best of My Love," and "One of These Nights" and "Take It to the Limit."

"The new owner has done an amazing job. No expense has been spared, no detail left unattended, both in the public area and backstage. The acoustics are superb, undoubtedly the best sound I've heard in any venue of this size anywhere in the world," Henley told the L.A. Times before playing the gig.
