Performers Announced For Beatles Week On Late Show With David Letterman

Performers have been announced for Beatles Week on Late Show with David Letterman, which will run through February 7.

Reports claim that Broken Bells, a collaboration between the Shins' James Mercer and producer Danger Mouse, kick off the week on Monday with the song "And I Love Her." They'll be followed by Sting singing "Drive My Car," the Flaming Lips and Sean Lennon on "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds," and Lenny Kravitz will play a song to be determined on Thursday.

Currently, Friday, February 7 is left open. Rumors are swirling that the show is interested in Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr for that episode.

Beatles Week celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Fab Four's arrival in America. The Late Show is taped in the Ed Sullivan Theater, where they made their famous first live televised performance.
