Def Leppard rocker Joe Elliot has signed on to appear in an upcoming feature film titled The Bridge. The film centers on a musical prodigy from a small town who struggles to find success after his band falls apart.
Elliot is just one of the many big-name rockers set to appear in the film, joining previously announced acts Ricky Warwick (Black Star Riders), Eddie Ojeda (Twisted Sister) and Sin Quirin (Ministry).
The film's producers describe the drama as an "arduous journey of the human spirit."
The film will be directed by former Dark Descent rocker Bobby Field, who also starred in the 2005 indie release Guy in Row Five.
The Bridge marks a return to the big screen for Elliot, who made his debut in the 2001 thriller Dark Realm.
