Joan Jett To Perform With Nirvana Members At Rock Hall Of Fame Ceremony

Joan Jett may perform with Dave Grohl, Pat Smear and Krist Novoselic at the upcoming induction of Nirvana into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The Foo Fighters recently posted a picture to their Facebook page of Novoselic's black Gibson bass, Smear's blue Fender Stratocaster guitar and a third guitar which appears to be the white Melody Maker owned by Jett. The pic led to speculation that the tribute would feature those four individuals.

Jett has previously rocked out with the Foos. In 2011 they hooked up to play "Bad Reputation" on Letterman, which was one of several occasions.

"[Joan is] one of our heroes," Grohl said on stage at the premiere of his doc Sound City. "[She's] a person that changed rock music [and] made it okay to be f---in' dirty and cool and play rock 'n' roll liker a real rock 'n' roller. She made Pat [Smear] want to start a band."
