Slash took the stage at Club Nokia in Los Angeles to jam with Motorhead over the weekend. The legendary guitarist joined the band for the final song of the set, "Ace of Spades," ripping a memorable solo during the cut.
Slash joined the group again for their April 13 appearance at Coachella, and will do so again on April 20 for their second appearance at the fest.
In an interview, Slash called Motorhead bassist Lemmy Kilmeister one of the greats:
"Lemmy was one of those guys that I so looked up to and I still do. When I was a kid, I was one of those Lemmy fans that would bow in his presence. And we got to be friends and he's always sort of taken me under his wing kind of thing and he's always been really cool."
