Jon Bon Jovi has not given up in his pursuit of purchasing the Buffalo Bills franchise. Jon's rep, speaking with Sun Media, says that the New Jersey rocker "remains passionate in his pursuit of an NFL franchise."
Several sources say that Jon wants to move the franchise to Toronto, North America's second largest market without an NFL team, after Los Angeles.
Speaking with the Toronto Star late last year Tim Leiweke, CEO of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, said that Jovi was part of a Toronto group set to bid on the Bills:
"We talk weekly about his NFL ambitions. And so we're actively engaged, but I think it's still a work in progress."
Jovi's previous sports pursuits include being one of the original majority owners in the Philadelphia Soul, an Arena Football League team. His son plays for the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame.
