Boycott Urged By Facebook Campaign As Gregg Allman Biopic Resumes

Work on Midnight Rider, the Gregg Allman biopic, has resumed following the death of crew member Sarah Jones, who was killed in a train collision during the filming of the movie. Now, a Facebook page called "I Refuse to Work on Midnight Rider" has been started by surviving crew members.

"Morally how can he continue, knowing that his decision cost Sarah Jones her life? He had the ability to say no," wrote the daughter of director John Frankenheimer on the site.

"As the daughter of a director and I know that the director is the final voice. And if the director and producer allow it to happen, they have to accept responsibility."

The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees has joined in on the boycott, demanding that the film's production team Unclaimed Freight "provide clearances from any and all governmental agencies and/or police agencies that are investigating this company and the individuals involved."
