Eagles Fan Accuses Cops Of Brutality At Minneapolis Concert

Jamie Voelk, an Eagles fan who attended a show last year in Minneapolis, has accused a police officer of smashing her face and breaking her elbow. According to TMZ, Voelk has hit Officer Molly Fischer with a suit claiming excessive force.

Voelk says she was doing nothing wrong when a security guard bumped her. Fischer, says Voelk, then pounced on her, dragged her outside and slammed her face against a metal curtain.

Voelk was arrested and booked for "obstruction of the legal process," a charge which is going to be dismissed, according to Voelk's legal filing.

Voelk is suing the city of Minneapolis, its police department and concert promoter AEG for excessive force, false arrest, battery, and infliction of emotional distress. She is seeking $50,000 in damages.
