Iggy Pop has teamed up with Amnesty International to raise awareness against the use of torture. The human rights advocate is promoting its new slogan - "Torture a man, and he will tell you anything" - with ads of beaten up celebs.
Pop's lacerated face is captioned by the phrase ""The future of rock & roll is Justin Bieber."
"We can't imagine Iggy Pop saying that Justin Bieber is the future of rock & roll," a rep for Amnesty told the Guardian. "Governments that use torture . . . claim these techniques give them precious information, but history has shown that tortured people are usually willing to say anything at all to make the pain stop."
Also on board the new campaign are the Dalai Lama and Karl Lagerfeld.
