Doobie Brothers Joins Zac Brown Band Live At Fenway Park Show

Zac Brown Band brought the Doobie Brothers up on stage during their weekend show at Fenway Park in Boston. The two acts teamed up for a performance of "Black Water" to the surprise and appreciation of the massive audience.

According to the Boston Globe, ZBB also covered David Allan Coe ("You Never Even Called Me by My Name") and the Outlaws ("Freeborn Man") before telling the audience that Fenway might be "my favorite place that I've ever played."

The band played for nearly three hours, wrapping with an encore that featured "Chicken Fried" a cover of Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb" and Charlie Daniels' "Devil Went Down to Georgia."

"[A]ll in a night's work for Zac Brown Band," wrote the Globe, "whose combination of easy charisma and expert dishing out of country make even their spikier songs go down smooth."
